Here We Go Again! A WebQuest for 2nd Grade (Science: Animal and

the new neighborhood pet shop.
You will care for the many pets at Here We Go Again Pet Shop. Many different animals and insects
live in Here We Go Again. Some
of the pets that will be delivered include hamsters, goldfish, parakeets,
geckos, puppies, crickets, poison dart frogs, snakes, and butterflies. Members of your community can get their
pets and supplies at your pet shop.
Imagine
yourself as the owner of the Here We Go Again Pet Shop. You have just been delivered a
variety of animals and insects.
Now you have to decide how to sort your animals and insects in your pet
shop. 1.
Identify the different kingdoms. 2.
Sort the animals and insects by their
different group. 1.
Go to KIDSPIRATION. 2.
Create a bubble map with your main idea
as animals and insects. 3.
Label your bubbles by the 5 kingdoms of vertebrate
and insects. 4.
Use the animal and insect stamps to show
two examples in each group. 5.
Save and print your bubble map. Turn your completed bubble map in to your teacher. Please make sure your name is on your
paper. Congratulations! You have successfully sorted the
delivery of animals and insects in your pet shop. Just think, what a mess it would have been without your
