Here We Go Again! A WebQuest for 2nd Grade (Science: Animal and

the new neighborhood pet shop.
You will care for the many pets at Here We Go Again Pet Shop. Many different animals and insects
live in Here We Go Again. Some of
the pets that will be delivered include hamsters, goldfish, parakeets,
geckos, puppies, crickets, poison dart frogs, snakes, and butterflies. Members of your community can get their
pets and supplies at your pet shop.
A customer just
came into your store and wants to buy an animal or an insect. You have been given an animal kingdom
or insect. You now have to select
an animal or insect in the group and tell the customer all about it and why
they should buy the one you have chosen. 1. Create a Powerpoint presentation (with
your group members) to tell the customer some things about the animal you
have chosen. 1.
Go to POWERPOINT. 2.
With your group,
create 6 slides to describe the animal you have chosen. Slide 1 – create a title Slide 2 – Characteristics of its
animal
kingdom or group Slide 3 – List an interesting fact Slide 4 - List an interesting fact Slide 5 – Tell where the animal or
insect lives and what it eats. Slide 6 – Find a book that tells
more information about the animal or insect that you have chosen. Save your
presentation. Decide which group
member will read each slide. As a
group, you will share your Powerpoint with the class. You have just sold your first animal or
insect. You are on your way to
